Sushi to sit on

If I actually bought all the crap I post here my house would look pretty freaky. The green hallway aready freaks some people out. Having said that, these sushi pillows would look fantastic in my living room!

Who's a cheeky monkey?

I'm sure one of those figures could be me. You decide which. First I thought all of them was just me going to work.

Sweden goes for the moon

A Swede plans to put little red cottage on the moon. Bloody nuts if you ask me. The article on the Local notes "Putting a house on the moon would strengthen the impression of Sweden as a hi-tech country". It will certainly make an impression, but not one of 'hi-tech' I'm afraid. But hey a 500 million kronor statement on the moon could make the world a better place. Or they could just give me the cash, I can think of a few things to waste it on.

Having a housewarming?

Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not give your guests one of these martini glasses. Halfway through the evening they're not going to take special care on placing the olive correctly and your brand new place will stink of spilt martini's for months! Having said that, this is a pretty cool and fantastic housewarming gift!

Heroes

TV is best when selectively downloaded because most of what's on TV is crap. I've started watching NBC's Heroes but I haven't made my mind up if I like it or not. Great story outline, comic book go real life angle without taking itself to seriously. However, it also has a bit of a 'Lost' feeling to it because they could drag the back stories on forever. I'll give it a few more episodes in the hope that the main story gets going.

Note: I love the placement of the subtitles, much more in vogue with comic books than with the standard 'along-the-bottom' view. Neat.

Telemarketer Nightmare

Ever get call from a telemarketer? Ever want to tell them to F*** off? Well Tom & Bod didand had a lot of fun with it. I'm not sure if it's a hoax or not but I hope it's real :)

The Departed

Holy smoke what a line up! The Departed is film I'll definitely go see. DiCaprio sucks, so lets hope he gets smacked around a lot. I'll just go to see that.

The End

I don't think I'll buy this TV sticker. Maybe I should, maybe you should. The Internet is choking the life out of TV, so it might as well be the end.

That reminds me, I'd better check my Bittorrents.

I can't plug it in!

For those with MS or alcohol related 'issues' may want to try the Rozetkus power strip. Although, some may still be stumped. I'm not so sure I would want to friends with someone like that.

PS. Don't spill your beer into it.

talking about shopping

While I'm in a 'geek things for the house' mood I just can't resist Etsy, a place to buyu and sell handmade thing-a-me-bobs. Shopping by colour has my name on it!

Vodka and Lego

To continue the theme of geek living I'll need a Lego ice cube tray to go with my Laundry carpet et al. I wonder if there are any wordless cocktail recipes.

Wordless pancake recipe

The dudes at 37signals directed me to a Wordless pancake recipe that was dropped in the pan on Flickr. This fits nicely with the Laundry rug I posted below. I'm a bloke, what can I say...
